Note November 25th, 2016:
Please be advised that the Veteran requires ramp repair work.
This has been scheduled to take place during the night of the 28th
The contractor expects this work to be completed in time for the
Veteran to start service on the morning of the 29th
As a precautionary measure, the Earl W.
Winsor will be crewed and will arrive on site during Sunday in Fogo, to
permit final certification requirements to take on passengers during
Winsor will be the overnight emergency response vessel in the
event of a medical evacuation requirement, should the need arise during
the night of the 28th
In the event the ramp repair work is not completed as expected
on the morning of the 29th
November, the Winsor will enter service instead and perform the same
schedule as is being done presently by the Veteran, until such time the
repair work is completed, and once the Veteran resumes service, the Earl
W. Winsor will depart.
